Ingredients

  • half a large onion or 2 medium-sized onions
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp laal mirch (red pepper)
  • 1/4 tsp haldi
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • fresh dhanya, chopped
  • salt to taste

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry till slightly yellow.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes, spices, and salt. Cook on low flame for half an hour. Add water if it dries out.
  3. Add chopped ginger and garnish with dhanya.
