Ingredients

  • 1 cup ghee or oil
  • 2 cups suji
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • cardamom
  • ground almonds
  • ground pistachio

Method

  1. Heat oil or butter, add ilaichi and suji, and fry until golden brown.
  2. Add sugar and cook on low flame.
  3. Add milk, almonds, and pistachios.
  4. Cook until suji leaves the sides of the pan enough to slide out.
  5. Pour into a greased dish and cut into pieces while warm.
