Ingredients
- 1 cup suji
- 1/2 cup baisin (sifted)
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup oil
- ilaichi
Method
- Warm oil. Add ilaichi and suji and fry (add more oil if required, suji should be damp).
- Cook on low heat until light brown.
- Add basin and fry until golden.
- Add sugar and fry some more.
- Add warm water and cook until water dries and oil is visible on top.
