Ingredients

  • sarsou - 1 kg
  • 6 red chillies
  • 1 small onion (cut into quarters)
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 4 green chillies
  • 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 1 cup oil
  • salt to taste

Method

  1. Chop finely and boil with all spices (without any water). When the natural water dries, cool it and grind to a smooth paste. Heat oil and add paste and gradually add gram flour.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes. Before serving, garnish with butter and garlic.
