Prawn Balchao Recipe by Archana's Kitchen #main Description, some other stuff

Ingredients

  • 1 kg prawns
  • oil
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 tsp haldi
  • 1 tsp zeera
  • 1 tsp rai
  • ginger
  • garlic
  • 11-13 red chillies
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup gurr
  • kari patta
  • 1 kg onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  1. Fry prawns.
  2. In a blender, blend together vinegar, haldi, zeera, rai, 4-5 red chillies, ginger, and garlic.
  3. Heat oil. Add 7-8 whole red chillies, the blended mixture, black pepper, gurr, and a few kari patta. Cook till the water dries.
  4. Add chopped onion and salt and fry until the onion browns. Add fried prawns and a few more kari patta. Cook for a few minutes till done.
