Ingredients
- 1 kg prawns
- oil
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 tsp haldi
- 1 tsp zeera
- 1 tsp rai
- ginger
- garlic
- 11-13 red chillies
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup gurr
- kari patta
- 1 kg onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method
- Fry prawns.
- In a blender, blend together vinegar, haldi, zeera, rai, 4-5 red chillies, ginger, and garlic.
- Heat oil. Add 7-8 whole red chillies, the blended mixture, black pepper, gurr, and a few kari patta. Cook till the water dries.
- Add chopped onion and salt and fry until the onion browns. Add fried prawns and a few more kari patta. Cook for a few minutes till done.
