Palak Paneer Recipe - Chai Press #main Description, some other stuff

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg palak
  • oil
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp zeera
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • pinch haldi
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 3-4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 100 grams cottage cheese (cubed)
  • 3 green chillies

Method

  1. Steam the spinach for 4-5 minutes and strain.
  2. Heat oil and fry the onion. Add the garlic, zeera, red chilli powder, haldi, salt, and chicken stock. Cook until water dries.
  3. Beat yogurt and milk together. Add to the masala.
  4. Chop boiled palak and add to the masala along with ginger, cottage cheese, and green chillies. Cook for a few more minutes, then serve.
