Moong Daal Pakistani Lentils - Flour & Spice #main vegetarian needs_Mama Description, some other stuff

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup masoor dal
  • 2 tbsp moong dal
  • 2 tbsp whole black pulse
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced
  • *1/2 tsp turmeric
  • *1 tsp red chili
  • *1 tsp ginger & garlic paste
  • salt
  • coriander leaves
  • mint leaves
  • 4 green chillies, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup oil

Method

  1. Soak lentils
  2. Heat oil, fry onions. Add lentils & fry for 5 minutes. Add * ingredients and two cups of water. Cook on low flame
  3. Grind them and add two cups of water.
  4. After 5 minutes, add margarine, all the green masala, brown onions, and garlic. Let it simmer.
