Ingredients

  • 1 cup daal chana
  • 1 cup black daal
  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • ginger
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 2 pieces cinnamon (daalcheeni)
  • black peppers
  • 1 tsp ground garam masala
  • 1.5 cup chicken stock
  • salt
  • 1.5 cup rice

Method

  1. Boil daal chana, black daal, and chickpeas separately.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions, garlic, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, black peppers, and garam masala. Fry until onions are pink.
  3. Add daal chana, black daal, chickpeas, chicken stock, salt, and rice. Cook until done.
