Lamb Leg

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 kg lamb leg
  • 3 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp zeera powder
  • 1 tbsp papaya paste
  • 1 cup yogurt

Method

  1. Marinate the lamb leg with above spices for one day.
  2. Heat oil. Cook leg on both sides until golden. Add remaining marinade with two cups of water and cook over low heat till tender, turning leg from time to time.
  3. Serve dry or with remaining gravy.
