Ingredients

  • 6 eggs (separated, whites beaten)
  • 1/2 cup almonds (soaked, skin removed, and chopped)
  • 2 cups khoya
  • 2 small packets fresh cream
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 kg full cream milk (or 1 pint half & half)
  • 1/2 tsp saffron

Method

  1. Cook milk and cream together.
  2. Cook khoya and sugar in a separate pan until it melts.
  3. Mix all ingredients together and pour in a 12” by 9” greased pan. Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for half an hour. Switch to 250 degrees and cook until done.
  4. Sprinkle chopped almonds and grill for a while.
