dessert vegetarian Description, some other stuff
Ingredients
- 6 eggs (separated, whites beaten)
- 1/2 cup almonds (soaked, skin removed, and chopped)
- 2 cups khoya
- 2 small packets fresh cream
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 kg full cream milk (or 1 pint half & half)
- 1/2 tsp saffron
Method
- Cook milk and cream together.
- Cook khoya and sugar in a separate pan until it melts.
- Mix all ingredients together and pour in a 12” by 9” greased pan. Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for half an hour. Switch to 250 degrees and cook until done.
- Sprinkle chopped almonds and grill for a while.
