Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken, cubed
- salt
- crushed red chilli
- crushed black pepper
- chopped garlic
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 1 egg white
- 1 tomato
- 1 onion
- green peppers
- capsicum
- peas
- ginger
- green onion
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup yakhni
- crushed red pepper
- 1.5 lemon’s juice
Method
- Marinate chicken with salt, crushed red chilli, crushed black pepper, chopped garlic, 2 tbsp cornflour, and one egg white. Leave for half an hour.
- Steam chicken for 10 minutes.
- Cube (or julian cut) tomato, onion, green peppers, capsicum, ginger, peas, and green onions.
- Heat oil and add chopped garlic. Cook on high heat. Add ketchup, yakhni, and crushed red pepper. Mix well. Add lemon juice and all the vegetables except tomato and green onions. Add 2 tbsp cornflour and cover for a few minutes.
- Add black pepper, tomato, green onions, ginger, and steamed chicken.
