Ingredients

  • 1 kg carrots
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 250 grams khoya
  • 1/2 cup ghee or oil
  • 4 cardamoms
  • pinch of saffron
  • chopped almonds
  • chopped pistachios

Method

  1. Peel and grate the carrots.
  2. Boil carrots with cardamoms on low heat until carrots are tender and liquid has dried.
  3. Add oil, sugar, khoya, and saffron.
  4. When oil separates, remove from fire. Garnish with nuts.
