Ingredients
- 1 kg carrots
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 250 grams khoya
- 1/2 cup ghee or oil
- 4 cardamoms
- pinch of saffron
- chopped almonds
- chopped pistachios
Method
- Peel and grate the carrots.
- Boil carrots with cardamoms on low heat until carrots are tender and liquid has dried.
- Add oil, sugar, khoya, and saffron.
- When oil separates, remove from fire. Garnish with nuts.
