Ingredients

  • 1 kg boneless chicken, cubed
  • 2 tbsp chicken tikka masala
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • salt
  • 3 tbsp coconut powder
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 green sprin gonions
  • 3 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 kg rice
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 8-10 whole red chillies
  • 1 tsp kalouji
  • 1 capsicum, cut into pieces
  • 5 tbsp corn

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken with the chicken tikka masala and ginger garlic paste for an hour.
  2. Heat oil and stir fry chicken until tender. Do not add water. Smoke with coal for ten minutes.
  3. Heat the water and dissolve the coconut powder.
  4. Add the cooked chicken and mix well.
  5. Add the spring onions and green chillies.
  6. Boil the rice.
  7. Heat oil and add the curry leaves, red chillies, kalouji, capsicum, and corn. Stir for a while before addimg this to the rice and covering.
  8. To serve, first spread rice in the dish. Top with chicken and garnish with coriander leaves.
