Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg chicken
  • 3 medium sized onions (brown)
  • 1 tbsp ginger & garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhanya powder & 1/2 tsp crushed (??)
  • 1.5 tsp zeera
  • 1 tsp zeera powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1.5 pao curd
  • 3 cups rice, boiled
  • dhanya, chopped
  • mint, chopped
  • lemons, sliced
  • food coloring

Method

  1. Heat oil and fry onions. Add chicken and ginger garlic paste. Cook for a while.
  2. Add all the spices and the curd. Cook until the oil separates. Add a glass of water and cook on low flame until done.
  3. Make a layer of boiled rice, then a layer of chicken. Sprinkle dhanya and mint, then the sliced lemon. Add another layer of rice. Sprinkle food coloring and some brown onions & put on dam
