Ingredients
- 1 cup red lentils
- 4 tomatoes, boiled and pureed
- 4 sliced green chillies (whothe?)
- 1 tsp ground red chillies
- 1/2 tsp turumeric powder
- 1 thbsp garlic & ginger paste
- 1 roasted and ground cinnamon stick
- 7 curry leaves
- 4 lemons
- 1/2 tsp rai
- 3/4 cup oil
- salt (to taste)
Method
- Boil the lentils until tender
- Heat the oil in a seperate pan - add the curry leaves, all the spices and stir fry
- Add the pureed tomatoes with lemon juice
- Add the lentils and green chillies to the mixture & allow to cook on low flame (for how long?)
